오늘의 영어 패턴 입니다. 

There is a reason that ~

~ 할 이유가 있다.

reason 다음에는 that 절, why 절 그리고 to 부정사가 올 수 있다.

예제

1. There is a reason they like you.
   사람들이 널 좋아는 이유가 있다.
   
   
2. There is a reason no one is listening.
   아마도 들어 주지 않는 이유가 있다.
   
   
3. Is there any good reason why I should buy this cell phone?
   내가 이 휴대 전화를 사야만 하는 적절한 이유가 있나요?
   
   

There is no reason to 부정사 ~

~ 할 이유가 없다.

이유라는 의미 외에 근거, 동기, 변명 등의 의미도 나타낸다. 

예제

1. There are no reason to ban smoking on campus.
   교내에서 흡연을 금지할 이유는 없습니다. 
   
   
2. There are other reason to call for an investigation.
   조사를 요청할 다른 이유들이 있습니다.
   
   
3. Many people believe that there is a reason for our existence.
